Joanne has provided a positive, warm and supportive class environment for me to practice and learn in. Her encouragement, and guidance and ability to listen, hear and respond to questions is invaluable. Her open-minded, honest and humble approach in discussing phenomena and experiences is reassuring. Her authenticity in sharing her own experiences has helped me to trust and have confidence in her as a teacher, and as an excellent experienced medium and mentor. Her care and concern for every student including myself, has really helped me to feel relaxed and nurtured and to enjoy our classes and feel comfortable and unafraid to make mistakes or fail. Her friendly, patient, respectful and disciplined teaching style ensures that every student has a full opportunity to develop at their own pace, working to the best of their ability within the guidelines of the principles and practice skill set developed by Mavis and Jean.
